Well, in answer to your original question Pentland, it looks like a resounding NO!!

What's with this "loose cannon", anyway? Might it be a good thing?

Oh dear, I've lost the plot again.
Is the Golf Course where it's all happening these days? Tell me what I'm missing ... :?
Should we all be there?

All quiet on the western front

Everything seems to have gone very quiet here lately. I'm missing my fix of vicarious entertainment. Has everybody gone into hibernation? Spider? PP? Nothing that you want to get your teeth into, then? Is this good news, or bad?

Batten down the hatches folks.
And nobody's going to be able to get off Easdale Island for a day or two, are they :D
Maybe it will have just disappeared into the Atlantic when we wake up in the morning, eh? :D
Maybe I'll just change topics now and vote against a fixed link. :D :D

Nick - I appreciate the chat forums (fora??) as an observer, but don't participate because of the fearsome handbagging brigade (my problem, not yours, and obviously not theirs, because they seem to revel in it!). But ... please please PLEASE could it stop snowing now!!! It's very pretty and festive,...

The way that reasonable and potentially interesting topics so soon degenerate into mindless slagging off is really pissing me off, and has put me off from joining in, in case I become the butt of someone's personal prejudices. Count me out, while ever this is going on.

Try the quarries at low tide. Once they're in there, they can't get out.

Well, judging by the fun and games there usually seem to be on Little Rock, Argyll, maybe a cod farm is looking like the least-worst-case-scenario?

That's what I love about these forum-thingies. Start a thread about fighter planes and before you know where you are it's morphed into football! But I'm not going to be deflected ... Is everyone enjoying Operation Neptune Warrior (or whatever it's called this time)? The O.T. last week invited us to ...

Whoah! My first ever begging letter!
Sorry Bob, but by the time I've paid for the container to put it all in, the private jet to fly it over, the troop of security heavies to guard it, and the customs clearance, there won't be much of it left. You know how it is ...

:P This is great news! Well, I suppose it's not exactly NEWS now, but I'm a bit slow on the uptake. Speaking of which, I've got a "Pennies for Pounds" jar and don't know who to give my millions to. :(

Got a few slates loose ...

Is anybody else getting REALLY ticked off with great big macho boys' toys aeroplanes whooshing overhead and parting your hair while you're peacefully pulling out a few weeds in the garden? One came over this afternoon, so low it nearly lifted the slates off the roof. It's supposed to be an issue tha...

LESS stall at Seil Games

LESS will be having a stall at Seil Games on 24th June. Hurry along, because there'll be some FREEBIES to grab, along with games for the kids to play and plenty of info on recycling. Oh, and a few extra hands would be very welcome to help with taking all the beer cans and plastic bottles to the recy...
