Boat work?

Post by Stevie Jarron »

Hi there,

Over the last 12 months since we bought Tigh air Oisean (Alan Liptrops’s old house) on the corner of Cnoc a Chaltuinn in Clachan Seil, we have met and been made very welcome by many on the island. But for those who haven’t met or got to know us yet… Hello I’m Stevie and my lovely partner is Christine.

We are now ready to move in at the end of May. Christine is a clever and resourceful enough lady to have found honest employment already, but I am now in the position of needing to pack in my job on the east coast to be able to move here.

Can anyone help with advice of direction to any on island or nearby work that may be available?

I have an Advanced Powerboat Commercial Endorsement, years of experience in commercial fisheries and chandlery management and I’m a competent marine and terrestrial ecologist to boot. I am also reliable committed, engaging and practical worker who is able to turn a hand to most things ashore or afloat. I am also interested in partnership in existing ventures.

You can get more info from me by email (stevie_jarron@yahoo.co.uk), mobile (07800753770) or when you see a car outside the house on (300 056) or pop in for a chat.

Regards Stevie
